The Konica Auto S3, also known as the Konica C35 FD is a versatile 35mm, shutter priority rangefinder camera. The camera is very similar in most respects to the Vivitar 35ES, Revue 400 SE and Minolta Hi-matic 7S11, and is believed to have been built by Cosina for Konica. The S3 has a fast (f/1.8) 38mm, six-element lens that has garnered a reputation for extremely sharp and detailed images.

This camera was made by Konica in Japan in 1973 to 1975 and is known to have one of the sharpest 35mm rangefinder lenses available for the price. This camera came in black and silver.
