History:
Pentax launched the Pentax IQ Zoom 115G from Japan in 1999. It was also released under Pentax Espio 115G and is part of the Espio/IQZoom series. The original Pentax IQZoom compact camera was introduced in 1986 (available in 1987 worldwide), and the last of the series (Pentax Espio/IQZoom 140v) was released in 2003.
From 1990-2005, Pentax classified its cameras into two groups. The low-end range had a PC prefix while the high-end series was branded as Espio.
